Ethical problems are a special concern for mentally impaired patients, especially when family members disagree about how to care for an elder. Medical advances have allowed people to live longer lives with more opportunities to decide; how to live, how to die and how to spend money.

This web site, started January 2007, is a work in progress. It deals with issues often encountered in my practice and, hopefully, it may answer some of your questions.
